DIALOG Fitzroy Australia are currently searching for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team to meet the demands of our growing workload and upcoming projects. This role is majority site-based work. The role is based primarily in Townsville, North Queensland, but successful applicants may be required to travel away for work.

Responsibilities:

• Able to interpret workshop/engineering drawings
• Hold the ability to prioritise work tasks
• Storage Tanks Turnaround Work
• Manage Preventative & Reactive maintenance requests
• Fitting and assembling components
• Hydro testing pipe work
• Able to work unsupervised and part of a team
• Minor fabrication as required
• Minor machining as required

Desired Requirements & Tickets:

• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Mechanical Fitters)
• Experience in the Oil& Gas Industry
• High Risk Work Licence (Preference for WP, LF)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Work at Heights current within 2 years
• Confined Space Entry current within 2 years
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence
• Relevant Industry Tickets - Construction White Card
• A strong focus on safety - we will not compromise on this requirement.

Pre-Employment Requisites

• Able to pass Drug and Alcohol Screening along with a Pre-Employment Medical
