Expression of Interest: Project HSEQ Advisor

DIALOG Fitzroy Ltd is fielding interest for experienced HSEQ professionals for upcoming projects around the North Island.

An experienced HSEQ professional, you will use your passion and communication skills to influence, support and guide our Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Assurance. This could be a contract or fixed term role, based at one of our project sites in the North Island, reporting to the DIALOG Fitzroy HSEQ Manager.

You will bring to the role:

  • Actively promoting HSEQ and embedding HSEQ leadership practices for a proactive risk management safety culture
  • Developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and driving a continuous improvement culture
  • Ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and Company management systems
  • Monitoring and reviewing the effectiveness of HSE and QA systems through audits and inspections
  • Overseeing and monitoring contractor compliance
  • Conducting incident investigations including non-conformance reports, coaching and mentoring the team throughout the process to deliver quality outcomes
  • Providing accurate reporting on HSEQ Performance monthly
  • Implementing and maintaining systems and procedures relating to the leadership & management of HSE and QA issues
  • Undertaking inductions for new employees or contractors

Ideally you will have the following skills and experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working in the field of health, safety, and environment
  • A relevant HSE tertiary qualification
  • Experience with ISO (or equivalent) Management System standards
  • ICAM investigation certification
  • Highly effective written, and verbal communication and influencing skills
  • Fine attention to detail and high standards of delivery
  • Ability to prioritise and juggle a variety of tasks
  • Workplace drug testing Unit Standards Certification (desirable)
  • Qualification or relevant experience in Quality Assurance (desirable)
