About the Role

As Location Manager, your primary focus will be on establishing a strong presence in the Central North Island region, fostering client relationships, and driving sustainable growth with excellent collaboration with our Head office. You'll take charge of creating a pipeline of work in the industrial and energy industries while ensuring that our services exceed client expectations in safety, quality, and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Grow the Business:
  • Build and nurture relationships with current and prospective clients.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities in the industrial and midstream sectors.
  • Develop and present business cases for growth initiatives and market expansion.
  • Establish a reputation for DIALOG Fitzroy Ltd as the go-to service provider in the region.
• Deliver Exceptional Customer Service:
  • Ensure all projects and services meet or exceed agreed KPIs for safety, budget, schedule, and quality.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored, responsive solutions.
  • Continuously improve service delivery processes to enhance client satisfaction.
• Operational Excellence:
  • Oversee the effective coordination of resources, including labour, equipment, and logistics.
  • Lead the successful execution of projects and maintenance contracts in the region.
  • Manage project finances, including cost control, forecasting, and reporting.
• Regional Leadership:
  • Set up and establish the Taupo office as a key operational hub.
  • Collaborate with Head Office and other regional teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Promote DIALOG Fitzroy's values and commitment to safety, innovation, and excellence.

What You'll Need

• Proven leadership experience in a similar managerial role.
• Strong background in engineering, project management, or industrial operations.
• Excellent communication, business development, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to HSE standards and team development.
• Financial acumen and the ability to oversee budgets, forecasting, and reporting.
