Great opportunity to lead our Mechanical Engineering team, coordinating both people and projects to deliver exciting and significant expansion projects to new and existing clients. As the Mechanical Engineering Lead, your ability to effectively coordinate and support the various engineering teams and all other disciplines will be crucial.

You will be taking the lead on:

• Coordinating the execution of Plant layout and Piping engineering activities
• Ensuring consistent use of mechanical engineering and design standards/codes/systems and processes
• Overseeing the coordination between the piping team and other disciplines
• Managing 'fit for purpose' solutions that meet the requirements of customer specifications
• Leading and guiding a team to deliver projects on time and within budget

You will have the following skills and experience:

• Broad knowledge and experience in the latest technology and work methods
• Significant knowledge of mechanical design and construction of pressure piping and facilities, as well as knowledge in pressure vessels and associated equipment
• Proven ability to lead and coordinate a team to deliver successful project outcomes
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate between the Piping team and other disciplines
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Proven problem-solving abilities
• Customer-focused approach

To be considered and successful in this role you will have:

• 10+ years previous experience in a relevant industry - Oil and Gas, Renewables, Pharmaceutical, Food, or Dairy
• Relevant tertiary level qualification
