Location: Auckland (Primarily Site-Based)

Are you a seasoned Site Manager with a passion for delivering high-quality construction projects, as well an interest in modular construction? DIALOG Property New Zealand Ltd is seeking a proactive and experienced Site Manager to lead on-site operations and ensure successful project delivery of our modular multi-unit residential developments.

About the Role

As our Site Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the smooth execution of construction activities. You'll manage delivery by our modular contractor, civil works and landscaping, enforce health and safety standards, and ensure projects are delivered on time, and to the highest quality. This is a hands-on, site-based role where your leadership and attention to detail will make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead site health, safety, and environmental initiatives in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
• Manage short-term construction programmes and coordinate contractor activities.
• Supervise all on-site operations and ensure compliance with design and quality specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections and manage statutory obligations including building consent and resource consent conditions.
• Control programme, maintain site records, and prepare regular reports.
• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders and resolve on-site issues promptly.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in site management for commercial or medium-density residential projects.
• Strong background in managing main contractors or large subcontractor packages.
• Demonstrated ability to implement site H&S and management systems.
• Relevant qualifications in site management or construction.
• End-to-end project experience from pre-construction to post-completion.
