About the Role


DIALOG Fitzroy Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Stores & Logistics Manager to lead our stores, logistics, and asset operations in New Plymouth. This is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring the efficient management of inventory, stores, vehicles, and assets across our operations.

You'll be working closely with internal departments including Procurement, Finance, IT, and Projects, as well as external stakeholders, to ensure seamless logistics support and continuous improvement across all areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the main store, steel store, and company assets.
  • Manage inventory systems, ensuring accuracy and cost-efficiency.
  • Lead and support store personnel, ensuring high service standards.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies, including vehicle and delivery management.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across stores and logistics functions.
  • Provide project support, including tooling and shutdown logistics.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in stores, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with inventory systems (e.g., Microsoft D365) is highly desirable.
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and safety.
