Store person (Operational Assets and Tooling)

About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and highly organised Store person to take ownership of operational assets, tooling, and project stores across our Brisbane operations. Working closely with Project Managers, the Stores & Procurement Coordinator, and key vendors, you'll ensure the fabrication workshop and every project is equipped, compliant, and ready to go.

This role is hands‑on, fast‑paced, and central to the success of our Workshop, shutdowns, maintenance programmes, and major projects.

While the primary workshop and stores are based in Hemmant, Brisbane, there may be occasional travel to site to complete stocktakes and conduct audits.

Key Responsibilities

Project Stores Management

  • Manage project stores, maintain compliance, oversee asset control and provide logistics support

Equipment Maintenance

  • Support maintenance planning, manage repair process, maintain equipment records, assist with audits and act as maintenance contact for all equipment needs

Steel Store Support

  • Assist with receipting and issuing steel store stock as required.

Main Store Operations

  • Work collaboratively in stores and maintain accurate asset data in the system, manage stock and storage, handle PPE compliance while supporting operations

Safety & Welfare

  • Promote safe work practices, support hazard management, report incidents and ensure HSE compliance

Business Support

  • Provide general support, effectively manage time and perform additional duties when required

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Class C Full licence
  • Computer literacy with inventory management systems
  • Current HRWL (LF)
  • Dangerous Goods endorsement and experience with DG paperwork

Desired Qualifications

  • LR, MR Licence
  • IATA qualification
  • Experience with heavy machinery or engineering equipment
  • Test & Tag qualification
